Yoga for Kids:
Practices for Emotional, Mental, and Physical Balance

Session 1:  June 4 – June 25
Session 2:  July 16 – Aug. 6
$30 per 4 week session, $55 for both sessions, or $8 drop-in

Yoga for Kids (ages 6 – 12) will be a time of practice and play as we uncover a spaciousness between our circumstances and our (re)actions.  This space is our awareness, and recognizing it gives us the power of choice.  We’ll learn a variety of skills to develop a sense of agency and wholeness in our everyday lives.  These skills will make up our “building box,” our treasure trove of self-empowering abilities.   All classes will include breathing practice, focusing and resting the mind, and moving the body.  Each class will have a main area of focus:
Week 1:  Breath and Emotions — how breathing in different ways effects how I feel
Week 2:  Monkey Mind —  discovering the pause, helping my mind rest
Week 3:  Feel Good Yoga Flow — taking care of my body
Week 4:  Building Box — building myself up, whole and happy
